In August, the Friends World Committee for Consultation is meeting in South Africa. This will be a worldwide gathering of Friends. Gil George will be in attendance! West Hills Friends will be a hub for Portland area Friends for the following sessions, since most of the programming is happening while we are sleeping.

It is recommended that everyone who plans to attend the hub should also register to have access to advance materials. The online portal for the World Plenary offers many different ways to interact as a participant so be sure to sign up as an individual too. There is no cost, however donations are accepted. Deadline was yesterday so do it soon. Even if you are not interested in attending the hub at WHF, sign up so you can participate from home!
