Join us in nurturing a compassionate, respectful, and vibrant community. Your support empowers us to continue our ministry of offering a Quaker worship community in the Maplewood neighborhood.

Your contributions directly support various aspects of the community, including salaries for our released ministers and staff, maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, and educational resources for our youth.

Donating is simple and can be done in various ways to accommodate everyone.

Online Giving

If you prefer to plan your giving from home, we partner with the online giving platform called Tithe.ly. A direct link to West Hills Friends giving page allows you to make contributions from your bank account to ours, directly from your computer or mobile device. Click the DONATE button below to get started.

Please note that there are fees associated with giving online, so you will be asked whether to cover the fees in addition to your gift. The fee per transaction is $0.30 + a % for the processing (2.9% for VISA/MC, 3.5% for AMEX, and 1% for ACH). It is the same percentage as PayPal. Tithe.ly transactions are deposited directly to the church's bank account, therefore not requiring any handling of checks or trips to the bank.

If you’d like to mail a check, we also accept donations at the West Hills Friends Post Office Box or at the meetinghouse’s physical address. Please use the Memo box do indicate designated giving, if necessary.

Offering Box

If you are visiting West Hills Friends on a Sunday morning you are also welcome to drop your donation in the Offering Box in the foyer. We no longer pass a donation basket during the service due to Covid prevention protocols.

We are grateful for contributions of any size. We deeply appreciate your generosity. It's through collective support that we can continue to make a positive impact within and beyond our community.

Solar Panels

Solar panels have been purchased and installation is waiting on roof repair. We are still collecting donations dedicated to the Solar Panel Project to green our electricity by placing solar panels on our community building.

It is important to not divert funds from normal giving since those funds support our pastor, our ministry, and general maintenance. 

If you feel led to support this project, please indicate "Solar Panels" on your check or in the Memo area on Tithe.ly. For larger sums, checks are best due to Tithe.ly's fees.
