Palm Sunday is the week before Easter. On this day, we remember the way Jesus entered Jerusalem: not as a conquerer astride a mighty horse, but on the back of a lowly donkey. To greet Jesus, people spread palm branches on the ground, and shouted, "Hosanna!"

Palm Sunday Parade

On Palm Sunday, the children are given palm branches to wave in processional. They enter the meeting house as a group, and make a circuit around the room. This is usually done to a preselected song. When the parade is over, the children continue to their Sunday school classes.

Whenever he is available, Angelo the Donkey makes a very special guest appearance.
